The Seed Bank is a membership-based network. It consists of central seed storage at the Botanic Garden in Coffs Harbour, and seed collection hubs across the region. Seed Bank members are entitled to exchange seed and attend capacity-building events. The Seed Bank is governed by a steering committee under a Memorandum of Understanding. The North Coast Regional Seed Bank is not a commercial seed bank and does not sell seed.

Volunteers can assist by joining training events to learn how to collect seed and to assist with collecting, processing and growing native plant seeds for your nearest Landcare hub. See North Coast Landcare or the Seed Bank Coordinator at the Botanic Garden.

Organisations wishing to join the network may apply after checking the eligibility criteria and by submitting the information required (see under About Us).

Donations to assist the work of the largely volunteer-based seed bank network are welcome. Contact the Seed Bank Coordinator.
